Tutors

Description : We are seeking teachers with a passion for SEN(D), Christian education and a heart for children. Working a 3 day week you will assist the Headteacher in creating, an inspiring educational setting, with a nurturing, inclusive, faith-inspired ethos and culture . You will be part of an teaching and learning environment, that empowers pupils to achieve their greatest potential. The successful candidate will be a dedicated professional with SEN(D) experience and have the ability to inspire, vulnerable children (often school refusers with SEN(D)). You will be a team player with good interpersonal skills, that brings energy, enthusiasm and care for our special pupils. We offer full support and an induction programme for all new staff, and a commitment to continued professional development.
Learning Support Assistant/Mentor

Description : We are seeking LSA's with a passion for SEN(D), Christian education and a heart for children. Working a 3 day week you will assist the teacher in creating the schools nurturing, inclusive ethos and culture of this faith-inspired educational setting. You will enthusiastically provide an efficient and high quality support service to all students , which includes prioritising the nurturing of the next generation of future leaders. You must be able to show excellent organisational and communication skills with both children and colleagues. You will deliver literacy, numeracy and other SEND interventions to individuals, groups of students, as well in a whole class. You will be energetic and caring. We offer full support and an induction programme for all new staff, and a commitment to continued professional development.
Fundraising and Communications Co-ordinator

Bright Futures 4 All (BF4A) is a charitable community hub (C.I.C) dedicated to supporting neurodiverse and disadvantaged children and their families.
We provide inclusive education, well-being and advisory services, helping all service users to reach their full potential.
The Role
We are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic, and results-oriented individual to join our team and drive our fundraising initiatives, manage communications, and build strong community relationships. This is a dynamic role for a self-starter who is passionate about our cause and capable of working autonomously to identify opportunities and secure vital resources, both financial and in-kind to support our six main programmes.
Key Responsibilities

Fundraising Strategy: Develop and implement effective, diverse fundraising strategies to meet organisational goals.

Bid Writing and Grant Applications: Research grant opportunities and write compelling, high-quality funding bids and proposals to secure funding.

Community Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with local community groups, volunteers, and corporate partners.

Event Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising and community engagement events.

Donor Stewardship: Manage communications with existing donors and partners, ensuring timely updates and recognition.

Resource Acquisition: Proactively seek out and secure in-kind donations and partnerships to support operational needs.
Essential Skills and Experience

Communication Skills: Proven experience in excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial for crafting compelling narratives for different audiences (tender bids and funding applications), engaging with donors, and managing public communications (events and corporate partnerships).

Fundraising Knowledge: Demonstrate experience with fundraising strategies, campaign planning, and donor relationship management (CRM).

Digital Literacy: Proficiency in using digital tools, social media management, data management, and the ability to learn new systems (e.g., TEAMS, Canva, Google and Microsoft tools) are important.

Organisation and Planning: High levels of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities/projects and meet targets and deadlines, are essential.

Relationship Building: The ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders - colleagues, trustees, volunteers, and external partners is key.

Empathy and Understanding: A kind, compassionate, and trauma-informed approach when dealing with donors and beneficiaries is vital.

Commitment to the Cause: A genuine passion for the charity's mission of advancing education and well-being for young people, particularly in the Croydon area, is highly valued.

Desirable Attributes

Knowledge of the local Croydon community and the specific challenges faced by local BAME (Black, Asian and minority ethnic) school-aged children and their families.

Description : Play Workers will assist with the professional and efficient delivery of the support duties of the Project Coordinator description above. Whilst the Database/Fundraising Assistants will engage in business admin of the charity to include: improving our profile & raising awareness of the work we do, and supporting the team with securing new donors & an excellent donor stewardship system.
